This “Avenue” promotes the development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service. It involves the activities necessary to make the Club function successfully and achieve its goals.
Several events are planned throughout the members year to participate in activities and social events outside of the weekly meetings.
BAMBERGER RANCH TOUR
Events most recently included a private tour of the Baumberger Ranch in Johnson City, TX.
On June 21, about 20 felow rotarians and their families traveled to Johnson City for a ranch tour that included a short nature walk, their bat cave and more. For more information about this trip visit their website.
Following the tour, the group travelled to Blanco State Park, Blanco TX for a picnic and fellowship prior to the return to San Antonio.
FAMILY PICNIC at the Winkle's
A social gathering was hosted on May 31 by Jennie and Mike Winkle for a family barbeque and swim party this spring. Members brought food for a potluck and had the opportunity to barbeque their own steak. Fellowship and meeting the family members of our Rotarians was one of the treats of a terrific afternoon at the Winkle's. The club appreciates the hard work that Jennie and Mike contributed to make this event successful!
