This “Avenue” relates to the activities that Rotarians undertake to improve the quality of life in their community. Particular emphasis is given to helping children, needy families, the aged, the handicapped, and those most in need of assistance. Rotarians strive to promote the ideal of service in their personal, business, and community lives.
SCHOOL LIBRARY BOOK PROJECT
Each week, the Randolph Metrocom Rotary Club recognizes the contribution of each of its guest speakers by presenting current award-winning books to the libraries of schools with the Judson Independent School District and the Schertz, Cibolo, Universal City ISD. Books are selected by the Book Committee chair that have literary award recognition and will contribute to the libraries list of preferred reading.
