On December 9th The Wiederstein Choir came out to our luncheon and entertained us with songs of the season, in exchange they received a check for $250. Special thanks to member, Michael Beaver with Methodist Hospital Northeast for sponsoring this luncheon!
During this luncheon we also recognized Susan Hopkins with Judson ISD. Susan was recognized by the Greater Randolph Area Partners in Education (GRAPIE) for outstanding service for assisting students in the Judson Independent School District (JISD) For the last 8 years. As the JISD Secretary to the Director of Guidance & Counseling, she helped thousands of students in need.
And.....we had a "dual" check presentation to GRASP and to River City Community Church. Each of these groups received a donation of beef and/or chicken fajita meat that had an estimated combined value of $1200.
